RISE OF THE BEAST: Hell on Earth
by Kenneth Zeigler
We are proud to introduce the third title in a series of books written by local author, Kenneth Zeigler. The Rise of the Beast: Hell on Earth was released to the public on November 1st. Following his defeat in book two, War in Heaven, Satan and his minions have now fled to Earth where they fight to establish a worldly kingdom that will end the dominance of humankind.
Satan, in the guise of a New Age holy man, has created a new faith ostensibly based on the concept of world unity and peace. But his real goal is to bring about a new dark age in which he himself will be worshiped as god. Satan manipulates humanity and its politics to place a man loyal to him in charge of Europe’s government. His man, the Beast, is opposed by the Christian community. Among those standing in his way are Christian evangelists, Chris and Serena Davis, who were first introduced in book one, Heaven and Hell. Only with Chris and Serena out of the way can the Beast’s ambition become reality. Journey along in this exciting and fascinating story as Chris and Serena fight spiritual, physical, and emotional challenges every step of the way.

MOM, WAS THERE COLOR WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG? by Susan Steadle-Phillips
You're invited to snoop into a young girl's diary, written back in 1967 when she was a 14 year old freshman in the high school of a fictional southwestern mining town. You're sure to agonize and empathise with this charming character as she describes the pain of her mother's untimely and unexpected death, the echoing lonliness of a now empty house, the shock and hurt of her father's hasty return to dating, the frustration and discomfort of becoming the inexperienced caretaker of her truncated family, the disappointment and embarassment of bailing her drunk father out of jail, and the wonder and confusion of her introduction to the world of boys.
Susan Steadle-Phillips was raised in the copper mining community of Globe-Miami in south central Arizona. She insists that any resemblance the reader might imagine they see to actual events, locales, organizations or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. She suggests that, if anyone sees themselves in her characters, they receive therapy to seek the source of their discomfort......
